Dear all at AIR-L,
I am a graduate student of English Linguistics and Literature at KU Leuven
in Belgium, and I am writing my Masters Thesis on internet language.
As part of my research, I've created a survey (my first!) using Google Forms
<https://forms.gle/W5pCBxFL2Ea11L7k7> to gather sociolinguistic information
about who is (and isn't) using a particular word that I believe emerged and
spread online.
This survey should only take 5-10 minutes and will not capture your email
nor any personally identifiable information. I am hoping as many people as
possible take it, even if they are not familiar with the word I'm
researching - the more data, the better. As such, please feel empowered to
share the survey link if you find the topic interesting - I will be
collecting responses for at least a month.

Feel free to contact me at my academic email (
Katelynne.Shimkus at student.kuleuven.be) with any questions, concerns, or
other interest. My immense gratitude to all those who choose to participate.
