with youth activists and WHO!
Digital Health and Rights Project
<https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/cim/research/digital-health-rights/>is
doing transnational participatory action research on digital health and
human rights with hundreds of young adults in Colombia, Ghana, Kenya and
Vietnam. We’ll introduce our innovative model of research and governance
with a researcher from Vietnam and members of a national community advisory
team in Kenya, with major findings coming out next year.
We are also thrilled to launch our new report reviewing gender equality and
human rights in 20 national digital health strategies

. In 2021, the World Health Assembly approved the *Global Digital Health
Strategy 2020-25* to promote a coordinated and equitable digital
transformation of health. Objective 4 of the strategy emphasizes the
importance of addressing gender equality and health equity to ensure
digital technologies work for all. Working with the World Health
Organisation, we reviewed how 20 national strategies address gender,
inclusion and rights and have recommendations to WHO, national governments,
international organisations, and civil society.
