Hi James,

I am sure you want to spread the work around. But If you are looking for reviewers, I would love to review either of the below 2 books. I know I’m no the fastest but I have to say I really have enjoyed the opportunity to write reviews for you.

"The Kids Are Online: Confronting the Myths and Realities of Young Digital
Life" by Ysabel Gerrard
https://www.degruyterbrill.com/document/doi/10.1525/9780520388086/html

"Computing Legacies: Digital Cultures of Simulation" by Peter Krapp
https://direct.mit.edu/books/oa-monograph/5879/chapter/5140497/Introduction

Any news on where the review of Systems Ultra is up to?

I recently had my own chapter published (or about to be published) here:
https://www.igi-global.com/chapter/how-to-become-a-digital-citizen/373011

hope you are well.

Bea

Subject: [Air-L] Information & Culture Seeking Book Reviewers
Greetings AoIR community,

I'm the Senior Book Reviews Editor for *Information & Culture*, an
information science journal published by University of Texas Press. We're
currently seeking book reviewers.

I have a short list of titles I'm currently looking to assign, but I
welcome other pitches (both books you would like to review yourself and
books you may have recently authored).

You may also get in touch if you would simply like to communicate general
availability for reviews. If this is the case, please include a link to any
relevant bio/CV/publications as well as a note about what topics you would
like to review.

*Please send your responses to reviews at ischool.utexas.edu
<reviews at ischool.utexas.edu>.*

Here are the books that I'm currently looking to assign:

"The Computable City: Histories, Technologies, Stories, Predictions" by
Michael Batty
https://direct.mit.edu/books/monograph/5756/The-Computable-CityHistories-Technologies-Stories

"The Kids Are Online: Confronting the Myths and Realities of Young Digital
Life" by Ysabel Gerrard
https://www.degruyterbrill.com/document/doi/10.1525/9780520388086/html

"Computing Legacies: Digital Cultures of Simulation" by Peter Krapp
https://direct.mit.edu/books/oa-monograph/5879/chapter/5140497/Introduction

Our reviews are about 1,000 words, written for a broad audience including
information, media, and commnuncation scholars. You can view some recent
examples here: https://muse.jhu.edu/issue/53493

I look forward to hearing from you!

James
