11th August so please submit your proposals.*

*The LIS-Bibliometrics Conference is on **Wednesday, November 26, 2025**,
at the historic **St Martin’s House Conference Centre**, **Leicester, UK.*
*Conference Theme: Bibliometrics in Action*

This year’s focus is on *practical, hands-on use of bibliometrics*—highlighting
how bibliometric tools and insights are actively supporting
decision-making, data analysis, and organizational strategies in diverse
settings. We especially welcome proposals fitting our subthemes detailed
below, but also encourage submissions on any topic related to bibliometrics
or applications of bibliometric data. Instructions for submitting a
proposal can be found at the end of this post.
*Call for Submissions*

*Sub-themes include:*

·         Open platforms (DIY data analysis)

·         Responsible metrics

·         Using APIs for bibliometric data

·         Case studies of applied bibliometrics

·         Data visualization techniques

·         Metrics supporting decision-making

·         Practical examples of bibliometric tools

We also invite submissions under an *‘Open’ category*—for innovative ideas
and projects that might not fit neatly into the sub-themes.

pre-recorded options are not available. All presenters are expected to
attend physically.

·         *Poster –* We are happy to accept poster submissions from online
attendees as well as those attending in person.

·         *Archiving:* Accepted materials will be preserved for future
reference.

*Review & Selection:*

Submissions will undergo a *peer-review process* focusing on quality,
originality, significance, and thematic relevance. The program committee
reserves the right to suggest format changes (e.g., converting a
presentation into a poster). Submitters will have the chance to accept or
decline such adjustments.

*Important Dates:*

·         *Notification of Acceptance:* August 28, 2025

·         *Full-text Submission Deadline:* November 1, 2025
