Hope you are doing well. With Canhui Liu at the University College London, I am co-editing a special issue, "AI and Society in China" for Chinese Sociological Review. 

Some key dates:
April 30, 2025: Authors who want their work to be considered for publication in this Special Issue should email a 1000-word proposal with the header (CSR A.I. & Society) to specialcsr at gmail.com
May 15, 2025: Invitations to submit the full-length research paper will be sent out to authors. 
September 15, 2025: The full-length paper (no more than 9,000 words) for peer reviews. 
March 2026: The special issue is expected to be published online.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

A.I.'s role in social norm formation and evolution
A.I. and social inequalities
A.I. and state, bureaucracy, and geopolitics
A.I. and imagination, ideologies, and subculture
