Hello AoIR community,

I’m excited to share that my new book *Trans Technologies* is officially
published today! Use discount code PUBDAY30 at the MIT Press Bookstore
<https://mitpressbookstore.mit.edu/book/9780262551861> for 30% off today
only.

This book draws from over 100 interviews with creators of trans technology
to show how technology creates new possibilities for transgender people,
and how trans experiences, in turn, create new possibilities for
technology. It’s the culmination of years of research, and I couldn’t be
more excited to finally share it with the world.

You can order it now (with the discount!), and it’s also available free
open-access online. Plus, half of all author royalties will be donated to
trans BIPOC organizations.

I have a bunch of upcoming book events in March, April, and beyond, all
listed on my website <https://oliverhaimson.com/>. The book launch event is
on March 12 in Ann Arbor and on Zoom, and everyone is welcome to join
