We are excited to remind you about the upcoming symposium we are hosting at Erasmus University in 2025, the Future of AI and Public Safety.<https://www.eur.nl/en/news/call-abstracts-ai-imaginations-future-ai-and-public-safety> To paraphrase sociologist David Lyon: “What might happen if AI were guided by an ontology of peace rather than violence, an ethic of care rather than control, an orientation toward forgiveness rather than suspicion?"

We invite you to submit proposals for presentations, panels, or creative mediums (videos, installations, or whatever that may be) to explore alternative AI imaginaries.
