[Air-L] Conference registration for AoIR2025 is now open, 15-18 Oct 2025, Niterói, Brazil

The AoIR 2025 conference committee is happy to open conference registration
for #AoIR2025: Ruptures <https://aoir.org/aoir2025/>, 15-18 October 2025,
Niterói, Brazil.

#AoIR2025 will be held at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) -
Campus Gragoatá. The campus is close to the city centre and is very well
served by public transport. Please check AoIR’s website for travel

There are two different registrations for this conference - one for in
person attendees and one for remote attendees.

The Early Registration deadline is 1st August 2025. After that the price
increases, so take advantage of the discount.

AoIR is progressing this year to mirror many other active research
communities in offering the tiered registration fees. *Please read through
the details prior to registering to make sure you select the appropriate

*Please note:*

   - *All presenting authors must be registered by 1 August 2025 to be
   included in the program. THIS INCLUDES THOSE PRESENTING REMOTELY.*
   - There will be a range of pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, 15
   October 2025. You can find details here:

   - During the registration process you will be asked to indicate if you
   are attending the keynote, plenary and various receptions. Please mark each
   of these events based on your actual planned attendance, as we book
   facilities and catering based on your responses.
   - AoIR will be using Mastodon to communicate with conference attendees.
   AoIR members are entitled, and indeed encouraged, to open an account on our
   very own instance at https://aoir.social..


Many countries do not need a visa for short stays in Brazil (typically up
to 90 days for tourism or business). However, *citizens from countries like
the US, Canada, Australia, India, China and some African and Middle Eastern
countries must apply for a visa.* Please check visa requirements for
travelling to Brazil here: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/. If you require an
invitation letter for the visa application process, please contact ac [@]
aoir.org. You will need to have either an accepted AoIR2025 submission or a
paid conference registration to receive the invitation letter.
