Hi everyone,
We would like to share a new report from CDT titled “The Kids are
Online: Research-Driven Insights on Child Safety Policy.
”
The report summarizes key discussions and insights from a research
symposium held in September of last year on research and policy related
to child safety online. The event brought together top researchers,
policy experts, and civil society representatives to explore open
questions and research-driven approaches to improving youth safety in
digital spaces.
Some of the key themes highlighted in the report include the need for
evidence-based and youth-centric approaches, greater researcher access
to data, and cross-sector collaboration. It also outlines opportunities
for action, such as implementation of default safety protections,
customizable user tools, and digital literacy strategies.
Please find the full report here:

We welcome any feedback and encourage you to share the report with others.
thanks,
Dhanaraj
