Let it not be said that ISOC.LIVE is partisan, even if it very much is, in
support of the Internet Society's mission "to  promote the open, secure,
and globally connected Internet for all". Nevertheless ISOC and the FSF
might occasionally be on the same page when it comes to avoiding
ill-conceived legislation / regulation.

However the current hold up in the role out of BEAD funding, the
existential legal threat to the USF, and the newly announced 'Delete,
Delete, Delete' are questionable. Some even worry that ted Cruz will
revisit his positions on IANA.

Likely  there will be vocal support at today's event for these positions,
but worth paying attention to pick up the odd nunce.
