The deadline for the following call for applications has been extended to
12:00 noon, 8th May (Beijing Time). The application form is attached to

*Call for Applications: Youth Program on Intelligent Media **and
International Communication Innovation*
In the current era of globalization and rapid information technology
development, intelligent media is profoundly reshaping the landscape of
international communication. To promote cross-cultural exchanges and drive
the innovative development of the intelligent media and international
communication fields, the School of Journalism and Communication, Beijing
Normal University, has specially launched the "Youth Exchange Program on
Intelligent Media and International Communication Innovation".
Beijing Normal University is a renowned century-old institution with
distinct features
in teacher education, educational sciences, and liberal arts and science
basic
disciplines. The School of Journalism and Communication is one of its key
faculties.
The school is a crucial hub for media innovation research in China. It
emphasizes
interdisciplinary characteristics and leads the interdisciplinary education
and research of journalism and communication. Based on the forefront of
academic
and industry development, it is committed to cultivating high-end all-media
innovative talents with forward-looking visions, profound knowledge, and
comprehensive capabilities.
I. Target Participants of the Project
Young students, early-career scholars, and young professionals in other
related
industries who are:
1. aged 18-45.
2. holding the nationality of the United States, France, and other European
countries
3. interested in Chinese culture, internet enterprise platform based in
China, intelligent
communication, and international communication.
II. Execution Period
August 10-21, 2025
III. Expenses
The project will cover the accommodation, transportation, and other costs
in China for
the admitted participants during the project period.

V. Project Selection Process and the Number of Tentatively
Admitted Applicants
After receiving the application materials, we will organize experts to
complete the
selection. Admission notices will be sent to the selected applicants. The
project plans
to admit 8-10 people.

VII. Project Schedule
Day 1: Registration and Reception
Day 2: Opening Ceremony and Welcome Dinner
Day 3: Visits to Internet Companies (such as ByteDance, Tencent, etc.)
Day 4: Seminar and Report: The Current Application Status, Innovative
Achievements, and Future Development Trends of Intelligent Technologies in
Chinese and Foreign Communication Fields
Day 5: Cultural Practice: Walk along the Beijing Central Axis
Day 6: Cultural Experience and Seminar: Embracing Cultural Diversity
Day 7: Travel to Chengdu, Sichuan Province
Day 8-Day 9: Investigation at the Giant Panda Breeding Base in the Wild
Day 10: Seminar on International Communication Innovation
Day 11: Return from Chengdu to Beijing.
Day 12: Closing Ceremony.
