On *October 30, 2025,* the *Internet Society St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Chapter <https://www.isoc.vc/> *hosted its *7th Internet Governance Forum*
 (IGF) <https://www.isoc.vc/category/events/> in Old Montrose, SVG, under
the theme “*The Role of AI in Cybersecurity”*. The Forum brought together
government, industry, academia, and civil society to examine how AI is
reshaping cybersecurity, highlighting benefits for threat detection, risks
from deepfakes and automated attacks, and the need for public education,
governance frameworks, and regional cooperation.
