[Air-L] Announcing the *Critical Commons Research Network*

Hello AoIR,

It is my pleasure to announce a new project, the *Critical Commons Research
Network* (CCRN). This project is funded by a Wikimedia Foundation Research
grant to help us gather researchers who examine the digital commons and its
connections from infrastructural, political-economic, policy, and other
critical approaches.

This network aims to examine the role, importance, and impact of different
aspects and areas of the digital commons and to foster relationships and
mentorships for researchers in this area. I know many of y'all on this list
align with this type of research, and it is our hope that this can help
connect us together in ways that can elevate each other's work.

We are establishing an annotated digital library, a mentorship program,
collaborative online (and offline) spaces, symposia and workshops, and
an upcoming
CFP for an edited collection
