it was great to see so many of you in Rio a couple of weeks ago. If you're missing the intellectual stimulation and excitement already, why not join us at the QUT Digital Media Research Centre Summer School this coming February - registration is now open:


2026 DMRC Summer School | 2-6 February 2026

The DMRC 2026 Summer School is back again for another year, featuring interactive sessions showcasing digital humanities and social science research across key programs and projects within the DMRC. Researchers, students, and industry partners will share how they are confronting a range of Australian and global challenges in digital media industries.

About | The DMRC Summer School is hosted by the QUT Digital Media Research Centre (DMRC), showcasing our Kelvin Grove Campus in Brisbane, Australia from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February, 2026.

The Summer School promotes a culture of supportive research, and informed and stimulating engagement among researchers, students, and partners. Delegate Registration | Delegate registration is now open - see https://research.qut.edu.au/dmrc/research-training/dmrc-summer-school/ for more detail. The delegate registration fee is $400 AUD per person (incl. GST). Please formally register to attend by no later than 5pm AEST Friday 19 December, 2025.

Program Outline | A formal program will be released in the coming weeks. Please note, the program will be updated as new speaker and session information is released.
