We are pleased to invite you to join us for the launch of the Critical AI Centre (CrAIC) in the department of Communications, Drama and Film at the University of Exeter on Wednesday October 8th. We hope this will be of interest to members of this list!

Scholars from around the world will gather to share their approaches to the rise of AI and its effects on multiple academic disciplines. If you would like to join us for a hybrid public roundtable, please sign up at the link below.

We also ask that if you would like to participate in the Q and A for the roundtable, you will find a space in the Eventbrite page to ask a question regarding how AI might be affecting your work as a scholar or perhaps any other questions you might have for the scholars about the stakes of AI today.
