Hello all,
I am pulling together a panel with some colleagues for AoIR Mexico City around the theme of sociotechnical imaginaries and futures (broadly conceived) and we are still looking for one or two other papers to round it out. Right now we have papers about retrofuturist imaginaries in popular culture, imaginaries of innovation and techno-optimism in AI policymaking in the EU, and technopaganist imaginaries of the early internet.
Please email me off-list if you’re interested in participating. Work considering imaginaries in the Global South and/or around marginalized populations is especially welcome.
Warmly,
Adrienne
