[Air-L] Inquiry: PhD Opportunities Starting in the Next Year (Data Science / Internet Research)

Dear AoIR colleagues,

I’m writing to ask whether anyone is aware of PhD opportunities, advertised
or not yet formally posted, starting within the next year, particularly in
areas related to internet research, data science, computational social
science, or digital culture.

I’m currently based in Toronto, Canada, and in the final months of my
master’s degree in data science at the University of Colorado Boulder. My
background spans applied data analysis, data engineering, and
research-oriented projects. My interests sit at the intersection of
data-driven methods and the study of online platforms, digital communities,
and sociotechnical systems.

If you’re supervising PhD students, know of upcoming openings, or would be
open to an informal conversation, I’d be very glad to connect. I’m happy to
