Hello AoIR friends,

I am hiring the first PhD position in my ERC-funded PAY4PLAY project on the creator economy at Aarhus University that will be co-supervised with the excellent Pablo Velasco. We are looking for a PhD fellow to work within the "Cultures of Participation within and among Creator Communities" sub-project, focused on gaming (think Twitch streamers and YouTubers). A comparative angle between English and Spanish-language communities is a strong bonus.

It's a fully funded three-year position that will be part of an international and collaborative team. The methods and theories of the PhD are flexible, but interviews should be part of the mix. The application deadline is April 1st (no joke), and you can read more about the process here:
