Dear all

Mark Carrigan and I are organising a workshop on the future of LLMs in Manchester on July 7th.

The title is almost self-explanatory: 'Waiting for the Crash – Sketching the Enshittified Future of Large Language Models’. The idea is to invite colleagues, at any stage in their career, to come up with speculative case studies on how LLMs will transform vis-à-vis expectations of the AI bubble bursting and emerging monetization strategies.

Travel and accommodation funding will be available to participants without other sources of support.

More details on how to submit your proposals at https://markcarrigan.net/2026/03/19/%f0%9f%91%80-waiting-for-the-crash-sketching-the-enshittified-future-of-large-language-models/

Thanks!

JC
