Greetings from the Internet Society Foundation!
 
We would like to invite you to submit your proposals for the Research grant program. The program offers grants up to US$500,000 to support researchers around the world that are examining ideas and innovation that further the long-term goal of a world where people everywhere enjoy affordable, reliable, resilient Internet access and a safe, secure, and trustworthy online experience.

Independent researchers, non-profit organizations, and public research institutions worldwide can submit proposals that explore the following thematic areas: 
Inclusive Internet
Greening the Internet 
Measuring Meaningful Connectivity
Trustworthy Internet 

Independent researchers may receive funding up to US$200,000, while organizations and institutions can receive up to US$500,000. 

The application period closes at 21:00 UTC on May 22nd, 2026. 

Internet Society Foundation is committed to open access research, and all funded projects must be published and made freely available to the public. Applications from underrepresented groups in the research community are strongly encouraged.
