<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>Hi,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>I recently
joined a </FONT><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>project at the
Bauhaus Dessau Foundation to research the interplay between ICT and
urban spheres.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>My interest lies in how new ICTs - e g
location-aware, networked and camera-equipped handheld devices - are
bridging the gap between physical and network space, linking spatial and
anti-spatial processes and creating new forms of social interaction and
community exchange. </FONT><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>Some early examples
are geocaching, moblogging, mid-air messaging, location-based urban
games and wireless tagging.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>It would be interesting to hear if anyone
else on the list is looking into similar issues, or have any tips on related
research or phenomena.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>Thanks,</FONT></DIV>
