<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We are delighted that Prof. </span><span lang="en-NL"><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/pete-fussey-77105b2a/"><b>Pete Fussey</b></a> (University of Southhampton</span><span lang="EN-US">) will join us as a keynote
speaker. </span><span lang="en-NL">Fussey's research focuses on the human rights implications of advanced surveillance and other policing technologies. <br>

</span><span lang="EN-US">that </span><span lang="en-NL">explor</span><span lang="EN-US">e the way in which policing practices, whether physical or digital, produce harmful experiences. The symposium aims to

2) Reflections on how digitization influences the employment of physical force;<br>
3) The mental, social and democratic consequences of harmful policing;<br>
4) Disproportionate policing practices as a result of racial profiling, risk profiling and use of force;<br>
5) Accountability and oversight in digital policing (transparency, audits, bodycams, governance);<br>
6) Effects of digital policing such as loss of privacy, chilling effects, social sorting, etc.<br>
