I think the number of ill and richpeople in NE India is too small to attract an Apollo or that militancy has kept them at bay -or maybe Apollo guys think going to NE region is like going to Mt Everest - a view or perception more common among those from remote Kerala etc -like my landlord.

The irony of it is that Apollo in Chennai is the new
favored destination for hordes of ill people from
Assam who have to travel all the way to Chennai. And
they have one of all places in Dhaka too.

I do believe the numbers speak of a significant market
for a Guwahati Apollo to service NE patients. 

I wonder why we could not attract one in Guwahati.
