That, Santanu is really a sad photo. Situations like these makes us
all wonder where the GOA's and the GOI 's priorities lie. This drought
in Assam was not a surprise to the GOA. It seems they were suddenly
woken up when things have gone from bad to worse.

irrigation pumps don't work and poor farmers depend entirely on the
monsoon for their crops.
It is just so upsetting.
