[Assam] Orkut - Gauhatians on the move

One of the strange things due to Internet connectivity is that I am realizing that even as I am leaving US nearly after 2 years (I had come here on Sep 4th, 2004) to go to Canada (I hope I get the visitor visa tomorrow) ----one thing is certain.

The students of Jaipur School whom I taught or supervised - can get letters of recommendation from me--where I would be in a position to compare them favorably (atleast a few) with graduates of Harvard College and other elite colleges in US. Thus my letter of recommendation -as an M.Ed. -Harvard - -for admission across the world - could be one useful thing they would gain . I wonder how many international students in US from India are in position to write such letters.

Ofcourse there must be some Indian profs who might have come to US/UK for further study or post-doctoral research etc.

  Any comments?

  Umesh

    Ram-da,

I forgot to mention that to log in to Orkut you must have a Google account (which you have) and the same can be used for that.

Those who don't have to be invited to join it -- I will be have to invite anyone who want to join Orkut/Google .

  Regards.

  Umesh

  Thanks Umesh,

But it seems Orkut wants you to create a new login. Please send photos
thru flikr or something where we don't have to do that.
