Asomiya new CJ of Delhi HC

GUWAHATI, Dec 2: Dr Mukundakam Sharma of Asom has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court (vide order no KK 13016/5/2006-US-II dated 30.11.2006) on Thursday. 
Dr Sharma started his career as an advocate in the Gauhati High Court and was appointed a judge on January 10, 1994. He was transferred to the Patna High Court where he took oath on February 14, 1994. That year, he was transferred to the Delhi High Court and took oath on December 12, and since then he had been working as a judge of the Delhi High Court. He is also the chairman of Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee.
