*** Hmm --- interesting! Perhaps you can educate us in WHAT other 
AREAS the elected reps. have been 'awarded' the 'authority' by the 
fact of their election?

BTW, would you also care to educate Netters about what EXACTLY the 
powers of a legislators are and WHERE they are enumerated? I just 
hope they are not made up as they go.

Why I ask, is because, you a Harvard trained educator, must have 
special insights with which you came to hold the above mentioned 
view, while many of the rest of us were obviously ignorant of. I am 
looking forward to be farther enlightened.
