Dear Rini
My wife and I had a chance to visit Club Mahindra in the White Beaches of
Goa in April this year as guests of a time-shareholder. Nearby was a
well-known chain hotel.
There were only these two at the particular beach. The club appears to be
more patronised by Europeans rather than the members and their guests. The
tariff is nowhere near what your friend is offering. And I was not happy that the
Europeans had to pay at a higher rate than the locals.
But what I liked to see was that two Assamese boys were working at the club
while
accidentally |I bumped into an Assamese gentleman working in the adjacent
hotel.
He lived in a nearby village with his family.
My interest in your promotion is that I hope you can ensure that our boys
and girls
are employed in these establishment in as many number as possible within and
outside the country. The hotels can provide training in various aspects
of the hotel trade to local candidates. As you are possibly aware, quite a
number of hotel management graduates from the rest of India are working abroad
particularly in the Middle East. Maybe there are a few from Assam as well but
there cannot be many.
Best
Bhuban
