Subject: [Assam Society] Incredible India - Program in Pragati Miadan - Focus on The North East

  Ministry of tourism is doing Incredible job to promote Incredible India, the North East. They are promoting north east on every FM channels, posters, big banners etc here in delhi and other big cities and also on national Radio Channels. One week festival (of north east) also going on in pragati maidan and PM Monmohan Singh inaugurated the festival.
  There is huge enthusiasm among delhities about north east and people wants to know more about it. After sa re ga ma pa , people now wants to know more about this unknown India. Last night i went to pragati maidan and watched traditional dance of Mizo and Arunachal. Really mind blowing performance. Everybody there were clapping and some youth of assam were shouting NE zindabad etc etc.
  One punjabi old man there standing beside me said 'for the first time in my life i could see such a performance and i am proud of north eastern traditions.'
   
  Government of India should promote unknown regions like north east and that will bring economic prosperity to these regions.
