My friend Chandan Mahanta and his itch to spin and twist! What can I say?

There were two parts in my earlier email. Let me put that in perspective so that everyone can see how spinning is attempted even when there is no need.

  1. In case you were wondering where Bobby Jindal is and also how involved he is with Louisiana, the following will interest you.

This part is about Bobby Jindal. The topic of discussion is, " Oil & Gas Production - Gulf of Mexico - Direction, Regulations & Incentives for the State of Louisiana".
This topic is of common interest to Instrumentation Society members and the Louisiana politician. Instrumentation engineers are very dependent on oil and gas production and the production depends on what the legislators do regarding regulations and incentives.
Yes, Bobby Jindal is of interest to some of us because he is a brown skinned American of Indian origin just like my children. It is also because his father worked for the Baton Rouge office of the Houston engineering and construction company where I work now. Is there anything wrong with any of that?

2.The meeting in Lafayette is being publicized in Houston by Houstonians to revive the Louisiana branches of ISA.Isn't that adorable?

"Adorable" is about Houstonians. Unless you lived in Houston during Katrina hurricane and its aftermath, you cannot feel the sibling relationship between Louisiana and Texas. Houston gave shelter to some 250,000 evacuees, provided schooling to the kids from Louisiana and absorbed many of the job seekers. The natural disaster brought the people of the two states closer and the ISA Houston's effort to keep it going by requesting its members to attend the presentation in Lafayette, LA, is adorable in my opinion.

*** What is ADORABLE about it? Is Bobby J. an Instrumentation Engineer? Has he contributed something to the sacience and technology of Instrumentation Engineering? Or is he special because he is a brown-skinned Republican congressman?
