In this Assamese news report AUDF party has promised Islamic
administration(meaning possibly Sharia laws) in parts of Assam winning seats
in those areas dominated by Muslims; in the Indian administered election.



There has been suggestion of the Chief Election Commissioner of Assam J.P.
Prakash giving a deaf ear to the allegations of electoral irregularities by
the AUDF candidates and activists.
