[Assam] Newspapers on holiday too?

Thank you Mukul da. I did forget that it was also the Durga Puja holidays
and Xongkordew's Birth anniversary.

It is strange, here the newspapers do not take off even on Christmas. Yes,
employees do get off, but there is always a skeleton crew that takes up the
slack, and these employees that work on the holidays either get another day
(of their choosing) off or maybe compensated by overtime or compensation
time.

IMHO, some institutions like utilities, medical services, fire and the media
cannot just take a day off. The employees could ofcourse work on rotation.
