[Assam] A Grandfather's Story

This is indeed a beautiful story. I wish I could also tell the story like  
him. After reading the story I was very much reminded of my own journey several  
times in the early fifties crossing the Brahmaputra in a ferry. I was simply  
astounded when I first visited the city, a village boy, looking at Whiteaway  
&  Laidlaw, the Hogg Market, Firpos and so on on Chowringhee. But my  
subsequent visits to Calcutta had always been disappointments. Times change  indeed!
