The nine  year old who made a bomb safe portrayed as a  terrorist. 
The news report in the above link is about a nine year boy named Balai  
Karmakar of Bongaai Gaao,  Assam; who out of curiosity  picked up a device with two 
lights inside a bottle full of some powder. Out  of curiosity what the lights 
were he emptied the bottle of the powder to get to  the lights. A passer-by 
suspecting the bottle  a bomb asked the boy to  throw it away immediately when 
the bottle blew up in a small explosion. He was  handed over to the police. 
The police officer in charge of the locality Dipak Kumar  stated that no 
connection with the ULFA was established whatsoever and he has  been freed. Balai 
denied receiving any money to carry the bottle.   
It seems that instead of Balai being a paid bomb handler,  by emptying the 
bottle of its powdery content he has possibly prevented a  massive explosion in 
Bongaai Gaao; comments the news reporter.
