as Mukul-da pointed out this article says that poverty is main cause of civil war - I wonder why Indian partition happened exactly 60 years ago (aUG 15, 1947) .

A new paper by Harvard Business School professor Lakshmi Iyer and Quy-Toan Do of the World Bank looked at the roots of Nepal's conflict from a variety of angles.
