[Assam] Laokhowa

Those who are concerned about rhino conservation in Assam may like to read this. If this report by the reputed conservationist some 12 years back is to be believed, Laokhowa wild life sanctuary is not defaced-but it is wiped out.
  People can get a glimpse of loosing battles fought in some 20 odd national park and sanctuaries in Assam. Only Kaziranga makes it to the headlines and is well protected at the cost of all other lesser known but may be equally endowed wild life areas.
