[Assam] my roommate - BBC: China's world domination thru higher edu

in 20 minutes at 6 in the morning my roommate will leave for China (from our home) in coat and tie - first time I am seeing him in the suit. He says he needs to wear it since his parents will receive him at the airport and take him for party , since he is returning from USA after two years - after completing his exchange program whereby he receives two bachelor degrees in computer science - one from his Chinese univ where he studied for two years and another from www.gmu.edu in US. He will join work in China for about $1,000 per month ( high salary) in software field.

I will be in touch thru Facebook.com  (though he also uses a Chinese version - made in China in Chinese language only). I knew him as Michael Chang in the beginning but later learnt that his Chinese name is totally different. 

His girlfriend who was with him for some time in US will meet him in China before she goes off to Europe for grad school sometime later.

Maybe it will interest how Chinese students look at life.

likely to achieve schooling for all at primary level (if not already) pl check latest figures
