O' Ram:
Buisa, certain kinds of 'bidexi baanh',
unfortunately for desi-devotees, are more
conducive to fine quality producing engineered
products like floor boards, furniture grade
bamboo timber and the like. Assam or India bamboo
are more fibrous, harder and darker/un-uniform
in coloration than some Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean
bamboo grown in cooler regions with which they
make their , light colored, uniformly veined ,
exquisite products.
Not to suggest Oxomiya baanh is of no value--in fact it is of great value.
But before we jump to take umbrage over someone
praising bidexi-baanh', one ought to be informed
of the issues :-).
See, it does not make good sense for informed
people to be mindlessly parochial over these
issues.
