<Water comes and goes-no waterlogging?>
Brits were avoiding Conflictwith Assamese householders by going to no-man's lands for tea-by devastating the forests.
There is no plant/root/moisture science against Tea Growing in River islands.
All new Tealands are Kothiatolis. It is known that roots of any plant (except rice) should avoid total submergence.
In Northbengal newTeas are planted side by side with Rice,Jute,Pineapple.
Tocklai Science/Norms/Advisories are all a pain in wrong places.
Had they been cleverer, all teas would have been equally high grade/Highly Productive.
And fuel economics would not have crippled most.This Indian Research is just like others doing Junk Research( said only once by lateRajiv Gandhi)
