  I got a response from Rubi Bhuyan, central publicity member of ULFA. I do not have the means to verify the authenticity. But I wanted to share the email with the netters since Assamnet was not copied.
   
  Note how my question on Assam - Nagaland border was ignored. Is it a secret or is it because the solution hasn't been thought about? What do you think?

  Your Naga freinds are our brothers. We are sending our statement to them via mediya. As an NRA you might know that all those newsmedia who have  concerning in  Assam news they have all provision not only translate to English but even in other local language too. Do you think that ulfa cannot write english? or donot understand english?  Do you ever read ulfa's monthly newsletter FREEDOM?

  My Naga friends do not understand or read Assamese. Is it possible to translate your appeal to English so that the people, you seem to be addressing to, can understand?
   
  I have a question. Does sovereign Assam as envisioned by ULFA include Nagaland? If not how will you define the border between Nagaland and Assam? Will it be as nebulous as it is now?
