Dear All,What regards Scandinavia, a Precambrian shield and considered to be very stable it has indeed experienced neo-trectonics after the last ice-age in terms of new faults for instance. This has come forward during the investigations for a safe storage of radioactive wastes. There is of course a difference in regard to the glaciers in the Himalayas and a dam.
