[Assam] Your support for Parijat Academy Library

Dear friends,
  This is a follow up to the appeal for the Nitin Bezbaruah Sarangapani Library at Parijat Academy. The response is encouraging and a few individuals have taken the responsibility for the book collection. Mr. Manoj Das of Assam Association of Delhi is coordinating the collection process in Delhi while Ramesh Kacholia of Mumbai Group of Friends and Nitin Malhotra of Germany is appealing to the Indian community in Mumbai and Germany respectively.
  We hope that the library will strengthen the bond between us, the expatriates living in different corners of the world with our fellow brethren back home. It is also heartening to know that a few individuals from North America have committed to send medical books on autism, cerebral palsy and on children physical disorder. These books are not readily available in Assam and it is expected that they will be a life saver to those unfortunate children. 
  
  While response to the appeal is encouraging, we still need the actual shipment of the books. There are also low cost methods of sending books available through the postal service. You can contribute by sending books, puzzles, number blocks and also with maps, globes and reference materials. The mailing address is Parijat Academy, Pomahi P.O.    Presently we are trying to equip the library with books, puzzles, number blocks and also 
   with maps, globes and reference materials. The ultimate goal is to provide some good learning resources through the NBS Library for children and also the communities in Pamohi. 
 
  If you are interested in helping to build this library, we will be grateful:
  The library needs children’s books. It is important that the books are fairly new and not outdated, and they would immediately appeal to the young readership, and/or will support the curriculum for students from KG - 8th grade. It will be nice if people could send a few books when they can.  The shipping cost through United State Post office should be less than $20 and I was able to mail six books within that price. In India, there might be mailing option like book post.
