Mukul da,
Is this authentic?
If so, and with nothing much to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon, thought I
might suggest a couple of things at the least: :):)
1) There is a huge flight of capital from India.
2) Indians don't have that much faith in their banking system and the
service in the Indian banking system is now completely 'bankrupt'.
3) Indians are trying to dodge the tax-wallas by taking cash to phoren
shores.
4) That this money represents a small portion of black money in India - so
imagine how much power (in black money) still lies in India.
5)Terrorists/insurgents are now aware of the "secrecy" of Swiss banks and
have now discovered a novel way of stashing their ill-gotten loot for use
on a future date - when they become model citizens.
6) Now, even State montris and Babus have gotten wind of the Swiss Banks and
stash their loot there too. They too can make use of it - for their post
montri days, and of course bequeathing
their ill-gotten loot to the next 10 generations of would be montris.
7) The Mumbai underworld dons are now laughing all the way to the bank....
that is the banks in the Bahamas, where "black money" is really "white", and
the Swiss system no longer plays ball as well as iy used to.
8) What the Mumbai underworld thinks today, many Indians think tomorrow.
Next stop - The Bahamas!
And let us now look for the list from the Bahamas.
9) If this is true, India needs a new Finance Minister.
10) And lastly, many Indians are really proud of the fact that India is
Number One on the list.
