[Assam] Prof OK Medhi new GU VC (The Assam Tribune, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 )

I am very happy Okhil Medhi is confirmed as the permanent VC.

He is a very down to earth, intelligent, knowledgeable, but very unassuming.

It is a challenging position, and I sincerely hope he can bring back the
past glory of the University, in both academics and stature.
