GUWAHATI, Aug 29: Responding to demands from various quarters, the Asom Government today made the NRC update modalities public. In the preparation of the modalities, there has been a conceptual deviation from the one prescribed by the Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules 2003.
