I don't see an iota of reason as to why one should express
displeasure against the petition. The petition has been generated with the
singular purpose of demanding better security for India in general.
True,Assam did not receive adequate coverage when she was rocked by a series
of blasts on its soil. What prevented those Assamese, who now seem to be swept
by the patriotic fervour, from doing the same ( read petition drive ) with an
eye to highlight Assam's agony immediately after the barbaric incident which
was quite comparable to Delhi/Ahmedabad/Jaipur blasts ? Instead of seizing
the opportunity to be pro-active,we just sit back and groan and moan.
