More than the statistics, the article in http://638387.org/features/hiwarebazar.htm is encouraging. It shows how villagers can turn
their fate around if they have entrepreneurship in them. 
Regarding the listing of villages, I found Nalbari listed as a district but did not find any of the villages in it. Was it an oversight on the part of the NGO?
