[Assam] Why eat Rhino horn, Shark fin, Tiger meat, lobster , octopus ?

Was watching Planet in Peril on CNN tonight and saw that 100 miliion sharks are without their dorsal fin - and left to drown in the sea. Their fins land in Taiwan to be made into tasty  soup - costly --- just like lobster (which costs $30 a piece on recession discount rates -as NY Times reported the other day). One shark fin costs $1,000 - and in one fishing line u can catch 10 at a time - good money. 100 million sharks - each $1,000 -- thats too much money -- $10 billion !! 
 
When one cannot get tiger meat and rhino meat (from Assam)  banned by their relishers -- and where lobsters are boiled alive in the west -- who cares for the shark - who eats us anyway
