Umesh, nice it is.But to say although none is Hindu by origin in the NE region,all got something uniq to show that they are married.If one go by closer look, will surely identify the differences, either by cloth etc......
Maharaja Rudra Singha, the then Ahom king was more curious to worship Shiva and Krishna as he was encourage by their bravery, shakti and energy.So he started doing puja etc.It was in 13th century AD. Since then gradually all started talking as HINDU in the NE.Arunachal was NEFA,meghalaya was Khasi and Jaintia hills,Karbi anglong was Mikir hills, Mizoram was Lusai Hills.
Mangalsutra like things are made from thick forest precious seeds that are holy in family unity etc.On that thought woman after mariage are offered those mala to have a happy social life and for identifications that none looks to her.
