Whats in living in Guwahati?
A large number of people have been doing their last marathon run to buy a land or live in rented house, only to say rest of the world that they do live in Guwahati! Is living there will lead anyone to Heaven faster??Or the mosquito or uncovered drainage will give more resistant to new breed mosquito or some new deadly viruses??
Yes, its true.Days ago I expressed my deep sorrow in the brutal killing of Gautam Kr.Kataki of Kalaigaon at Koramor TE.I was trying lot to get more informations from my native kalaigaon as we brought up together in that then small peaceful village of kendu kalai.People at Kalaligaon are angry!People of kalagaon got unique unity at all times.Anyone violates anything-God surely takes care of it.This is one of the small town where religion plays no role.All work under one umbrella..UNITY and assamese.Wonderful.Anyone dies or any celebration, immediately all will join hands and arrange for all, let it be funeral or festival.When people came to know about Gautams death,people avoided to provide the informations to his old ailing parents.All call up his younger brother working at another TE near Tezpur.( I remember while my myther died in 1986,thousands of people was running for her last journey,the oldest police station existed since 1882 was empty,old to
 young all was running to her funeral... its hearty and so I always stand for the people of kalaigaon, It was black out day in Kalaigaon).While post mortem was done at mangaldai Govt Hospital, his younger brotehr decided to take to GHY home as he got own house! They said funeral will be at Guwahati as they belong to GHY! The crowd got hurt in their sentiments and left for 20 km Kalaigaon with more shock.When I tried to contact my native people, all refused to visit their home to convey my message since they did admitted that they are from GHY.Now none do visit their ailing parents.One of the close friend, an ACS officer was shocked to find that he was from kalaigaon!But he narrated that till then he never knew about this truth. I dnt know if one goses to heaven faster by living at Guwahati-----!! Amen.
Talibanism did exists in then Kamrup.Talibanism is new word now.It means brutality by causing death for own enjoyment.Chinese great traveller Hiuen Tsang visited by foot India in 633 AD for higher education.he was to go back via then kamrup making short cut.BUT- Someone at Pataliputra told him about KIRATS- or man eaters in south, and east of Kamrup, he got scared and left in another long route.he got scared in around 645 AD, but we used to get scared since 1970s to 1998.This time it was the tea gardens of north Assam,where tea garden santhals(Chaotal) do attack with bow and arrow for nothing.In between the mid of Assam agitations things was good, but again when they did find no place with suruviving, they took law at their own hands.They did saw BTC doing it, ULFA doing it,BLT,BTF,MALTA doing it.More kirats are on spree now.Kill who ever you wanted or let get killed.Once small word from any people- LET HIM DIE, HE WAS OF NO USE TO US!
